Why are we the best place to work?

Enquiro - Best Place to Work

We believe that the leading edge is the only place to be. We are pushing the envelope in understanding how to make search a more successful marketing channel.

We reward performance with increased compensation, increased opportunity and increased responsibility.

We believe hard work and fun can co-exist quite nicely.

We want people who want to learn it all rather than already know it all.

We know, TEAM is not a four letter word, it's a full time commitment.

We don't believe in supervision, we believe in promoting growth.

We think it's cool to work and live in a place where you can be at the beach in 5 minutes, hiking in 10 and skiing at the local mountain in under an hour (hopefully not on the same day).

We think families are the most important thing in the world. Your job should not be too far after, though.

This is just SOME of the fun we have!

Enquiro's 2nd Annual Street Hockey Classic!

Back by popular demand, it's the Enquiro Street Hockey Classic! - April 10, 2010
This year's event is looking to be bigger, better and, well, warmer than last year, and we are hoping to see you and your company there this year playing some good ol' fashioned Canadian street hockey to raise funds for the United Way.

Charities Win as Local Tech Company Plays ‘The Apprentice'
Kelowna, BC (March 20, 2008) Just before ten o’clock on a Thursday morning as company staff were called into the board room, most were unaware of the task that lay ahead. Gord Hotchkiss and Bill Barnes, co-founders of local technology company Enquiro, had secretly planned Enquiro’s own version of ‘The Apprentice’ as a team building exercise.

CIBC Run For The Cure 2007
This year marked the 5th year that Enquiro participated as a group for the Run for the Cure. What makes this year special is that our very own Petra Leinemann made a personal goal early in the year to raise $5000 herself. Upon doing so, she also pledged to shave her head and donate the 24 inch strands to make wigs for children with cancer. Petra raised over $7000 herself and as a group we raised just shy of $10 000.

Fall 2006 Evening Houseboat Trip
Not many people have seen a Polish Giant cannonball into the deep blue yonder – his belly glistening in the orange hue of the autumn sun. Neither can many people say that they have ventured on a 3-hour tour and not been shipwrecked with a Professor that can turn any old coconut into a radio (a forgotten discipline in most universities).

Last fall we let the captain steer the boat while we drank and ate – either in the hot tub or at the poker table. The Okanagan Lake was our sea and we did our best to play drunken sailors. At Enquiro, we aren't above rewarding the team by acting like a bunch of pirates.

4th Annual White Water Rafting at Kicking Horse Pass in Golden, BC 2006

For the July 8th weekend this year we went on our 4th annual river rafting and camping trip.  With a bunch of new and old faces to rage down the river it was another AWESOME experience!
