Hockey Family Fun Event

Enquiro and local Kelowna Social Workers and Foster Parents presented a Family Fun Hockey Day, to raise money for Canuck Place Children's Hospice. The event was a great success! We raised $4560.24, just beating our goal of $4500.00 

All the money raised will be 'ear marked' for the Central Okanagan. Canuck Place provides some outreach support services here in Kelowna. They have run a grief and loss group here in Kelowna, where a counselor from Canuck Place comes to Kelowna to facilitate a group for grieving parents. They also have run a program here in Kelowna called 'Summer in the City', where a recreational therapist runs a program for children who are accessing services through Canuck Place.
