At Enquiro we are proud of our unique corporate culture. We try to provide ample opportunity for play as well as fostering an environment of caring for the community. Many of our team members either currently serve on or have served on the boards of charitable organizations including the CNIB, Cancer Society, KidsCare, The Rotary and the United Way. We also have launched some projects of our own.
Take a look at JUST SOME of the ways we have worked hard for the community.
8th Annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast
Come join us for pancakes, sausages, and coffee on Friday July 10th!
1st Annual Winter Classic Hockey Tournament
On February 28, 2009 Enquiro hosted it's first ever outdoor street hockey tournament, the Winter Classic.
It was one of the largest charity events to date, and generated over $2,000 for the Children's Ward at the Kelowna General Hospital.
Ongoing Event
In order to contribute to this cause Enquiro has committed to a goal of 15 donations in 2008. Currently, 13 employees have participated in this challenge and we are eager to try and meet our goal. Stay tuned for the 2008 final numbers!
July 4th 2008 turned out to be a record breaking year for Enquiro's annual event. Breakfast was offered for free as per usual, with donations graciously accepted for the Kelowna Women's Shelter, a valuable community service. Our final fundraising total of $1,900 beat out our record total last year of $1,500! Proceeds from last year's event also went to the shelter.

7th Annual - 2008 Stampede Breakfast
April 2nd, 2008 - About 14 folks in total from Enquiro participated. Enquiro helped kick off our local Community Clean Up month by taking part in the 2nd annual 20 Minute Community Makeover! A record number of neighbourhood groups, schools, residents, business and community leaders spent 20 minutes cleaning the street, sweeping the sidewalk or picking up litter from the front of their business, school or home. The Regional Waste Reduction Office provided the trash collection bags and gloves, we did the rest.

Kelowna, BC (March 20, 2008) Just before ten o’clock on a Thursday morning as company staff were called into the board room, most were unaware of the task that lay ahead. Gord Hotchkiss and Bill Barnes, co-founders of local technology company Enquiro, had secretly planned Enquiro’s own version of ‘The Apprentice’ as a team building exercise.
2 Teams of 5 joined together to raise more than $750 for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Association of Kelowna.
This year marked the 5th year that Enquiro participated as a group for the Run for the Cure. What makes this year special is that our very own Petra Leinemann made a personal goal early in the year to raise $5000 herself. Upon doing so, she also pledged to shave her head and donate the 24 inch strands to make wigs for children with cancer. Petra raised over $7000 herself and as a group we raised just shy of $10 000.
July 7th, 2006 marked this years 5th annual pancake breakfast. We raised over $1000 for the Kelowna Food bank and boxes and boxes of food donations were accepted! Thank you everyone!
2006 marked the second year that ENQUIRO has participated in the "BIG BIKE FOR STROKE" ride. Over $2200 was raised for the Heart and Stroke Foundation by ENQUIRO team members, family and friends!
Our best Stampede Breakfast to date!! More than 200 people came past our grills and we raised over $1450, which the Kelowna Rockets Alumni Association matched and donated to the Kelowna General Hospital. See you there next year!
Over $2000 was raised by Enquiro team members, their family and friends in the 2004 CIBC Run for the Cure.
Basking in the Beautiful Okanagan Sunshine, Enquiro raised more than $1500, for the local Boys and Girls club by running and/or walking for 12 hours straight!
Another successful 3rd Annual Calgary Stampede Breakfast was held this past July. Over $1000 was raised for the Kelowna General Hospital Adolescent Psychiatric Unit.
Our 2nd annual Calgary Stampede Breakfast was held July 4th, 2003! We raised over $500 for the United Way, made lots of friends and had a GREAT TIME too!
Organized by the Kelowna Apple Triathlon Society (KATS - a registered not-for-profit society), the focus of the Kelowna Apple Triathlon is to promote participation, active and healthy lifestyles, accessibility and community involvement while enhancing tourism in Kelowna and the surrounding area. We volunteered to design this web site in 2002 and have been maintaining it ever since.
Our team members are working with a very special group of kids to help them explore the Internet as a way to express themselves and build relationships with other special kids. Each participant works with a team member to build their own personal webpage. This has been a tremendously rewarding experience for us.

The United Way makes a real difference in our community, so we are showing our support by designing and building a new website that will become a cornerstone in their communication strategy. This is one of three sites we've donated this year to non profit organizations.
