For Immediate Release Enquiro Rank’s #206 on Deloitte’s North American Technology Fast 500 Kelowna based Search Marketing firm Enquiro Search Solutions Inc. placed #206 on Deloitte’s recent release of the fastest growing technology firms in North America. To determine the fastest growing companies Deloitte reviewed fiscal year revenues over five years (1999 – 2003), calculated the revenue growth percentage over five years, and compared the growth of all the technology companies. Enquiro’s growth over the 5 year period was 1,059 per cent. Enquiro was one of only 15 BC companies to make the 2004 list, ranking 5th in growth over a 5 year period. Enquiro and ACD were the only two companies based outside the lower mainland to make the list (ACD is based in Saanichton on Vancouver Island). Enquiro was also the third fastest growing Canadian company in the Internet category. In total there were 54 Canadian companies named to the list. In addition to the 15 BC companies, there were 12 companies based in Alberta, 1 in Manitoba, 20 in Ontario, 5 in Quebec and 1 in Newfoundland. Enquiro’s VP of Sales & Marketing Bill Barnes says that Enquiro – which numbers among its clients Priceline.com, Sylvan Learning Centers, AIG, Lawyers.com and the Government of Canada – helps website operators understand what people are doing when they use search engines and how individuals interact with them. “We do research to understand what’s going on in their minds” said Barnes. “Why do they click on one thing and not something else? Is it really better to be number one in the listings? Should you pay to be there or is it better to be there organically?” After they understand that, Enquiro creates and executes a marketing strategy for its clients and their web sites.
