Here’s what you’d be doing each day:
- Working with prospects to go through the
four stages of our process: Discovery,
Diagnosis, Design and Delivery
- Creating a better understanding of the
prospects needs through interaction with our
contacts within the business
- You’ll work closely with prospects to
design the right solution by analyzing,
validating, specifying, verifying, and
managing the real needs of the client
- Building business cases for our
solutions to highlight meaningful financial
benefits
- Building strong relationships with all
the stakeholders
Here some of the things we’re going to be
looking for on your resume:
Business Analyst skills such as:
- Interviewing skills, to talk with
individuals and groups about their needs and
ask the right questions to surface essential
requirements information
- Listening skills, to understand what
people say and to detect what they might be
hesitant to say
- Analytical skills, to critically
evaluate the information gathered from
multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,
decompose high-level information into
details, abstract up from low-level
information to a more general understanding,
distinguish presented user requests from the
underlying true needs, and distinguish
solution ideas from requirements
- Observational skills, to validate data
obtained via other techniques and expose new
areas for elicitation
- Writing skills, to communicate
information effectively to customers,
marketing, managers, and technical staff
- Organizational skills, to work with the
vast array of information gathered during
elicitation and analysis and to cope with
rapidly changing information
- Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate
priorities and to resolve conflicts among
project stakeholders
- Proven track record for building
exceptional customer relationships
- Experience selling complex technological
or service based solutions
- A strong belief in Solution Selling
- Exceptional oral communication skills
- Completely at ease presenting to large
and small groups
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience managing projects
- Experience building business cases for
complex solutions and dollarizing the
benefits
- Past real world business experience
Any experience with any of the following
would be a bonus:
- Search or online marketing
- Running your own business
