ENQUIRO IN THE COMMUNITY |
|
We are proud of our corporate culture here at
Enquiro. We try to provide ample opportunity
for play as well as fostering an environment of
caring for the community. Many of our team
members either currently serve on or have served
on the boards of charitable organizations
including the CNIB, Cancer Society, KidsCare,
The Rotary and the United Way. We also have
launched some projects of our own.
Take a look at JUST SOME of the ways we have
worked hard for the community. |
Community Clean Up
April 2nd, 2008 - About 14 folks in total from Enquiro participated.Enquiro helped kick off our local Community Clean Up month by taking part in the 2nd annual 20 Minute Community Makeover! A record number of neighbourhood groups, schools, residents, business and community leaders spent 20 minutes cleaning the street, sweeping the sidewalk or picking up litter from the front of their business, school or home. The Regional Waste Reduction Office provided the trash collection bags and gloves, we did the rest.
Here's some info about it: http://www.regionaldistrict.com

Charities Win as Local Tech Company Plays ‘The Apprentice'
Kelowna, BC (March 20, 2008) Just before ten o’clock on a Thursday morning as company staff were called into the board room, most were unaware of the task that lay ahead. Gord Hotchkiss and Bill Barnes, co-founders of local technology company Enquiro, had secretly planned Enquiro’s own version of ‘The Apprentice’ as a team building exercise. CIBC Run For The Cure 2007
This year marked the 5th year that Enquiro participated as a group for the Run for the Cure. What makes this year special is that our very own Petra Leinemann made a personal goal early in the year to raise $5000 herself. Upon doing so, she also pledged to shave her head and donate the 24 inch strands to make wigs for children with cancer. Petra raised over $7000 herself and as a group we raised just shy of $10 000. |

Society (KATS - a registered not-for-profit
society), the focus of the Kelowna Apple
Triathlon is to promote participation, active
and healthy lifestyles, accessibility and
community involvement while enhancing tourism in
Kelowna and the surrounding area. We volunteered

Special Kids Online 2001
Our team members are working with a very special
group of kids to help them explore the Internet
as a way to express themselves and build
relationships with other special kids. Each
participant works with a team member to build
their own personal webpage. This has been a
tremendously rewarding experience for us.

Okanagan United Way Site
The United Way makes a real difference in our
community, so we are showing our support by
designing and building a new website that will
become a cornerstone in their communication
