You’ve probably never heard of this position.
But you’ll know soon enough if we’re talking
about you. You’ve got gobs of marketing common
sense, along with a piece of paper somewhere
that says you spent several hours in class
listening to someone drone on about marketing
theory.
You think search engines are the greatest thing
ever imagined, and use Google as a verb in day
to day conversations. Your curiosity about
things is unquenchable. You just can’t stop
asking why? And you’ve worked places where
you’ve blown people away with your customer
service skills. If a customer isn’t happy, you
can’t get to sleep at night.
You’ve always wanted to find a place where
you’re surrounded by people as intelligent,
passionate and obsessed about all things online
as you are. Well, you may have just found it.
Here’s what you’d be doing each day:
- Perform website analysis, consultation
and other search engine marketing activities
for clients
- Work closely with other team members to
understand and meet client goals
- Create presentations and other documents
to be delivered to clients, including
reports
- Ability to be proactive in recommending
solutions to meet client goals
- Ability to communicate the search
marketing process to clients
- Maintain a portfolio of clients and
manage own client workload
- Resolve conflicts in requests in order
to meet changes in priorities
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines
including multi-tasking
- Report project status to the account
team director
- Assist account team director in client
meetings and conference calls
Here some of the things we’re going to be
looking for on your resume:
- Proven track record for exceptional
customer service
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Excellent written communication skills,
preferably with past experience in
professional writing
- Experience managing projects
- Evidence of exceptional organizational
ability
- Experience with managing budget
- High comfort levels with Excel and
similar “number crunching” skills
Any experience with any of the following
would be a bonus:
- Website design, especially with
Dreamweaver or Frontpage
- Running a search marketing campaign,
including paid search
- Hitwise, SiteCatalyst and WebTrends
In addition, we’re looking for someone who
is an excellent match with our core set of
values
Our Core Values:
EXCELLENCE - Continuous Improvement.
Setting High Expectations. Learning. Flawless
Execution. Being the Best in the World at What
We Do.
NEEDS - Recognizing and Responding to the
Needs of Others. Our Team Members, Our Clients.
Our Community
QUALITY - of Life, of People, of our
Organization. Balancing Work and Play. Building
a Strong Corporate Culture. Continually seeking
the right people for the team.
UNITY - Preserving the Importance of Team
Work. We above Me. Establishing Common Goals.
Holding Everyone Accountable to Achieve those
Goals.
INTEGRITY - Sticking to our moral
compass. Valuing Honesty and Fairness.
RESPECT - Respecting Diversity. Looking
for the Value in Each Person.
OUTSIDE THE BOX - Reinventing our
industry. Embracing change. Looking for the
better way. Going for 10X improvement, not 10%.
Demanding passion about what we do. Being
Visionary.
