TECHNICAL ONLINE MARKETER

This is not an ordinary position and we're not looking for a person with a normal skill set to fill it.   We want someone who understands the concept of Search Marketing as well as likes to get their hands dirty with programming, databases and website troubleshooting.

You're the type of person who has registered accounts at places such as Digg, WebmasterWorld and Google Reader.  You enjoy fiddling around with the latest web technologies and also enjoy building apps of your own.  And your customer service and communications skills are impeccable.

Here’s what you’d be doing each day:

• Perform website analysis, consultation and other search engine marketing activities for clients
• Work closely with other team members to understand and meet client goals
• Design/Develop web applications using APIs
• Perform programmatic updates to Enquiro's web properties
• Implement Web Analytics tracking onto client websites
• Ability to be proactive in recommending solutions to meet client goals
• Ability to communicate the search marketing process to clients
• Maintain a portfolio of clients and manage own client workload
• Resolve conflicts in requests in order to meet changes in priorities
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines including multi-tasking
• Assist account team director in client meetings and conference calls

Here some of the things we’re going to be looking for on your resume:

• Strong grasp of HTML and CSS
• Programming Experience (ASP, C#, PHP, JavaScript, Java)
• Experience using Databases (SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL)
• Experience managing projects
• Evidence of exceptional organizational ability
• Strong problem solving skills
• Comfortable with Excel and similar “number crunching” skills

Any experience with any of the following would be a bonus:

• Website design, especially with Dreamweaver or FrontPage
• Database Maintenance: Tuning, Backups, Running Queries
• Web Analytics: SiteCatalyst, HBX, WebTrends, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, ClickTracks
• Experience with URL rewriting, content management systems, blogging platforms
