The text that is displayed in the blue bar at the very top of the browser window is known as the Page Title. Also known as the title tag, you can edit the page title through the source code of your page. From an SEO point of view, it is a good practice to place descriptive keywords near the beginning of your page title as page titles are often the titles a user will see in the search results for a listing. Page titles should be short and descriptive about what the page is about. Many site owners include a branded element into their page title in conjunction with a key phrase that describes the page itself. Search engines look to page titles as a method of determining the topicality of the page in relevance to the rest of the site.
