Acronym for Return On Investment.  ROI refers to the percentage of profit or revenue generated or lost from a specific activity.  This is a key metric used by marketers to measure the success of their marketing campaigns.  Return on investment is a performance measure that is often used to evaluate the success or efficiency of a marketing campaign.  ROi can be measured by profit and/or by cost savings.
