What search tools does
Enquiro employ to develop keywords?
At Enquiro, the process is
more important than the technologies. Everyone
has basically the same or similar technology,
but it’s how we use the technology that makes us
so good.
That said, several tools are used in
combination to best perform a keyword analysis
starting with our Target Market Profile. The
target market profile allows Enquiro to best
know your target market and be able to
communicate with them in their language. After
Enquiro has an in-depth understanding of the
target user we will begin to use several
standard industry sources to begin to identify
keywords.
The keyword analysis usually begins with several
suggestions based on your experience within your
industry. We also use a collection of top
referring keywords from your website metrics
package. This keyword list is expanded by
performing a competitive analysis of your top
online competition and identification of the
words that they have used throughout their
sites, optimized for in meta tags, title and
description tags. We use several sources for
gathering the competitive intelligence such as
the Google Keyword Tool and our proprietary
Simspider, a Search Engine Simulator to indicate
key characteristics and performance metrics.
Then the gathered keywords are developed further
using several keyword suggestion tools. These
keyword tools include such 3rd party sources as
Wordtracker, Overture Keyword Suggestion tool,
Google Keyword Tool, and the SEO book keyword
tool. We believe in being as accurate as
possible with our keyword analysis and therefore
we use multiple sources to gather as much
information as possible to provide the best
solution to our clients. Enquiro believes in
providing a total solution and to do so we
recognize the importance of using multiple
sources and points of view.
For PPC campaigns, Enquiro will strongly
consider variations of words and will bid on
common misspellings to provide the best possible
opportunities to begin the sales conversation
between Grainger and its potential customer.
For business-to-business sites, we do not
recommend optimizing for misspellings as
optimizing for a keyword requires the same
misspelling to be repeated throughout the
content, which will negatively affect the
marketing message of your company. More
